It was a hot day. A thirsty crow was wandering in search of water. But he could not find water anywhere. He was very tired due to continuous flying. Due to the heat, his thirst intensified. He was slowly losing patience. He thought that he would die that day. But he started flying again. He had gone far away from his home. He saw another crow lying under a tree. what happened brother? Why are you depressed? I think I will not be able to fly again due to lack of water. There is no strength left in my wings. I worked hard in search of water.
He did not know how to get water in the pot to quench his thirst. He started thinking of an alternative. He saw that there were pebbles lying near the pot. He got an idea. He started putting pebbles in the pitcher with his beak. The crow was troubled by fatigue and thirst… still he kept dropping pebbles in the pitcher. After some time the water level increased. The crow could drink water now.
His hard work paid off. He was satisfied after drinking water. At that time he remembered his friend who was dying of thirst. He went back to the tree where he had last seen her. The crow lying under the tree was unconscious. The crow sprinkled the water kept in its beak on the other crow. The crow came to his senses. He told her that he had found water. They slowly flew to the place where the pitcher was.
